  Wilbur H. (Sammy) Swarner, 79, Rockwood RD 1, died Feb. 15, 1987, in
  Somerset Community Hospital.  Born Sept. 18, 1907, in Black Township,
  son of John H. and Bertha Mae (Cramer) Swarner.  Survived by one
  foster son, Melvin Lasure, Port Chester, N.Y.; four daughters: Mrs.
  Walter (Lois Jean) Shaffer, Rockwood RD 3; Mrs. Walter (Anna Mae)
  Snyder, Rockwood, RD 1; Mrs. Jack (Wanda June) Kalp, Jones Mill; Mrs.
  Donald (Karen) Walker, Rockwood RD 1; four sisters, Mrs. Ray (Ferne)
  Heinbaugh, Somerset; Mrs. Wilson (Blanche) Pyle; Somerset; Mrs.
  Leonard (Melda) Schrock, South Carolina; Mrs. Val (Yvonne) Narad,
  Somerset; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.  Preceded
  in death by parents; an infant daughter and an infant grandson.  Also
  preceded in death by wife, Julia who died May 6, 1983.  Member of
  Rockwood Church of the Brethren.  Friends will be received at the
  William J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood, 7-9 p.m. Monday and 2-4 and
  7-9 p.m. Tuesday where services will be conducted Wednesday at 11
  a.m. with the Rev. Jay Christner and the Rev. Don Judy officiating. 
  Interment, Rockwood I.O.O.F. Cemetery.  Arrangements under the
  direction of the William J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood, with Francis
  Brady supervising.
