  MRS. KARL SWARTZWELDER
  
    Mrs. Margaret Swartzwelder, 72, Salisbury, died May 22, 1972, at
  her home.  Born June 28, 1899, in Elk Lick Township.  She was a
  daughter of the late John and Mary (Murray) Hotchkiss.  She was
  preceded in death by her husband, Karl Swartzwelder and two sons,
  John W. and Karl Jr.
    She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Salisbury.
    Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Hazel Fay, Salisbury; four
  grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a brother, Robert
  Hotchkiss, Meyersdale RD 4; and two sisters, Mrs. Catherine Hersh,
  Meyersdale RD 1; and Mrs. Mary Marble, Akron, Ohio.
    Funeral service was held Wednesday afternoon in Thomas Funeral
  Home, Salisbury with Rev. Ernest Rumbaugh officiating.  Interment in
  Salisbury Cemetery.
