  SWARTZWELDER
  
    Marie P. Swartzwelder, 81, of Henry Clay Villa, Markleysburg,
  formerly of Hooversville, died June 2, 1999, at Henry Clay Villa. 
  She was born July 3, 1917, in Johnstown, daughter of Herman and Pearl
  (Ankeny) Sorber.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husband,
  James; daughters, Debby and Sherry; and sisters, Thelma Phillips and
  Ruth Sorber.  Survived by a daughter, Joyce, married to Timothy Lowes
  of Webster, N.Y.; grandchildren, Kristal Nolf, Michele and Natalie
  Lowes and great grandson, Dennis Nolf.  She was a member of Central
  City United Methodist Church.  Family will receive friends from 3 to
  5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where
  service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Pastor Joe Brown
  officiating.  Interment, Otterbein Cemetery, Wilbur.  Memorial
  contributions may be given to the American Diabetes Association or
  the American Heart Association.
