  CHARLOTTE M. SWAUGER
  
    Charlotte Matilda "Till" Swauger, 68, of RD 8, Bowman's Addition,
  died Monday, June 19, 1989, at Cumberland Memorial Hospital, Md.
    Born July 18, 1920, at Grantsville, she was the daughter of the
  late William and Orpha (Durst) Failinger.
    Her husband, Ivan Cecil Swauger, preceded her in death in 1978.
    She was a former employee of the Cumberland Blouse Factory and was
  a member of the Grantsville Lutheran Church, Md.
    Surviving are two sons, Robert Wayne Swauger, Tampa, Fla.; and Ivan
  Ronald Swauger, Bowling Green, Cumberland, Md.; two daughters, Dionna
  Jean Law and Johnna G. Walters, both of Cumberland, Md.; three
  brothers, Kermit Failinger, Frostburg, Md.; William Failinger,
  Baltimore, Md.; and Donald Failinger, LaVale, Md.; 15 grandchildren;
  and six great-grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Silcox-Merritt Funeral Residence where
  services were conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday by the Rev. Brain L.
  Rossow, intern pastor at St. Luke's Lutheran Church.  Interment,
  Sunset Memorial Park, Bedford Road.
