  GENE SWAUGER
  
    Gene Swauger, 38, a native of Grantsville, died Nov. 7, 1972, in
  Wilmington, Del., hospital.
    Born July 2, 1934, in Grantsville, he was a son of Nellie (Swauger)
  Warnick.
    He was a member of New Germany United Church of Christ. 
    Also surviving are his step-father, Bruce Warnick; two sons,
  Michael and Stephen Swauger, and a daughter, Judith, all at home; and
  a half-brother, Gary Warnick, Grantsville.
    A graveside service was conducted in Grantsville Friday afternoon
  with Rev. Lary Diehl officiating.
