SWAUGER Heiskell Willard "Bud" Swauger, 74, of Markleysburg RD 1, died Wednesday, May 30, 1990, at his residence. Born in Jennings, Md., Aug. 30, 1915, he was the son of the late William Edward and Lula Belle (Hoover) Swauger. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Iretha (Fike) Swauger, Oct. 29, 1968. He was a sawyer by trade. Surviving are his widow, Marjorie (Myers) Swauger; four sons, Willard Swauger, Smithfield; Richard Swauger, Manchester, N.H.; Edward Swauger, Farmington; and Bernard Swauger, Saukville, Wisc.; four step-sons, Terry Ryan and Robert Myers, Adah; and William Myers and Dale Myers, Markleysburg; five step-daughters, Betty Nicola, Carol Jackson and Diane Clark, Adah; Patricia Burkholder, Carmichaels; and Cynthia Roberts, Republic; two brothers, William Swauger, Rice's Landing; and George Swauger, Hagerstown, Md.; two sisters, Ruthella Resh, Grantsville, Md.; and Edna Livengood, Friendsville, Md. and nine grandchildren. Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home where services were conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Joseph Lewis. Interment, Grantsville Cemetery. The Republic, June 7, 1990 [S3458]
