    Gladys Pauline Swearman, 91, Somerset, died Dec. 9, 2007, at The Patriot. Born Jan. 25,
  1916, in Somerset, the daughter of Willard Wilson and Anna Mae (Barndt) Walker. Preceded
  in  death by parents; husband, George Howard Swearman, who died in 1977; daughter, Ann W.
  Madeira, who died in  2003; brothers, Wayne, Harold and Willard Walker Jr.; and sister,
  Edith Edmiston. Survived by daughter, Mrs. Delmas (Carol Ann) Hutzell, Somerset;
  grandchildren, Mrs. Matthew (Christen) Seyler, New  Cumberland; Beth Galvin, Rockwood;
  Mrs. Ryan (Carolyn) Leiberher, Harrisburg; Mrs. Derek (Courtney) Nissley,  Marietta;
  Christine Hutzell, Somerset; great-grandchildren, Lindsay Vogel, Sydney and Brady
  Seyler,  Carter and Sara Leiberher, Leah,  Evan and Anna Nissley. Also survived by
  sister, Mrs. Betty June Baer, Somerset and son-in-law, Earl Madeira, Rockwood. A 1943
  graduate of Somerset High School and a 1937 graduate of Cambria-Rowe Business School. She
  had worked as a payroll clerk for  he former Musser's Bakery and  later as a water and
  sewer billing clerk for Somerset Borough. Gladys was a member of Grace United Methodist
  Church and a 25-year resident  at the Somerset Towers. Friends received  from 1 to 3
  p.m. Wednesday at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where a service will follow at 3
  p.m. The Rev. Eric Raygor officiating. Interment, Husband Cemetery. Memorial 
  contributions may be given to Grace United Methodist Church, 320 Felgar Road, Somerset,
  PA 15501 or  Humane Society of Somerset County,  P.O. Box 182, Somerset, PA 15501 or
  Somerset "In Touch" Hospice, 223 South  Pleasant Ave., Somerset, PA 15501.
