  MRS. RUTH P. SWEARMAN
  
    Mrs. Ruth P. Swearman, 81, of Meyersdale, died Nov. 17, 1973, at
  her home.  Born Nov. 14, 1892, in Hyndman, she was a daughter of the
  late Jacob and Martha (Logsdon) Smeak.
    Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Paul Critchfield, Boynton; Mrs.
  Charles Martincie, Rockwood; and Mrs. Ralph Miller, Meyersdale; also
  seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  Her husband James
  Swearman and a son Edward are deceased.
    Funeral service was conducted Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock in
  Konhaus Funeral Home, Meyersdale, with Rev. Harold A. Appel
  officiating.  Interment in Union Cemetery.
