CATHERINE SWEITZER

  Mrs. Catherine Sweitzer, 80, of Upper Turkeyfoot Twp., widow of Josiah 
Sweitzer, died at 4 a.m. Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Edna Pletcher, 
Kingwood.  Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Kingwood Church 
of God.  Rev. J. I. Kalp of Pittsburgh was in charge, assisted by Rev. E. C. 
Hall, present pastor of the church.  Burial was in the New Centerville Lutheran 
Cemetery.
  In addition to her daughter, Mrs. Sweitzer leaves two step-children, Mrs. 
Elsie Wasson of Brownsville and Elmer Sweitzer of Newell; two grandchildren, one 
great-grandchild, a sister, Mrs. Mary Snyder of Hooversville, and two brothers, 
W. A. Leer of Upper Turkeyfoot Twp., and E. B. Leer of Kingwood.  Her husband 
died 23 years ago.
