  SWEITZER
  
  Mary E. Sweitzer, 73, 419 South St., Berlin, died Dec. 25, 1984, at
  Meyersdale Community Hospital.  Born Feb. 15, 1911, in Milford
  Township, a daughter of Arch F. and Bertha (Barkley) Walker. 
  Preceded in death by parents; husband, Elwood G., who died in 1958;
  and son, Donald, who died in 1937; and two brothers, Clarke and
  Robert.  Survived by a daughter, Mrs. Carl (Faye) Flamm, Berlin RD 3;
  and a son, James W., married to the former Sallie Adams, Charlotte,
  N.C.; these grandchildren: Melanie Wisler, David Flamm, Lori
  Gindlesperger, Kerry Jo Sweitzer and Patrick Sweitzer; one
  great-grandchild, Christy Flamm, Berlin; sisters, Mrs. Ruth
  Hillegass, Berlin; Mrs. Helen Custer, Somerset; and a brother, Dalton
  Walker, Somerset.  She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church,
  an active member of the LCW, also Valley Grange No. 878.  Friends
  will be received from 7-9 p.m. Thursday and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
  Friday at the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home where services will be
  held at 11 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Kenneth S. Swanson
  officiating.  Interment, Berlin I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
