Sweitzer, formerly a distiller, died at his home in Somerset Saturday, aged 67 years. His funeral was held Monday morning with services 10 o'clock at the residence in charge of the Rev. Dr. Hiram King. Services at the cemetery were in charge of R. P. Cummings Post No. 210 G. A. R. and James S. Hinchman Camp No. 122 Sons of Veterans. Mr. Sweitzer disposed of his distillery several years ago to Emil Lipscher, of Windber, and T. J. Crowly, of Johnstown. Mr. Sweitzer was a veteran of the Civil War. He went from Somerset to Cumberland about 15 years ago and was married twice, both wives preceding him to the grave. He is survived by four sisters, as follows: Mrs. Albert Johnston and Mrs. Belle Faith, of Somerset; Mrs. Wm. H. Walter of Latrobe, and Mrs. John Hoover, of Somerset Township.
