  Etta Lee Swindell
  
    Etta Lee Swindell, 63, of 12834 Meadow Avenue, Cresaptown,
  Maryland, died October 22, 1983, at Sacred Heart Hospital,
  Cumberland, Maryland.
    Born May 4, 1920, in Winchester, Va., she was a daughter of the
  late Harry W. Henry and Emma Lee (Rinker) Henry.
    She was a retired employee of the Allegany County Infirmary and was
  a licensed practical nurse.
    She is survived by her husband, James R. Swindell Sr.; two sons,
  Donald S. Wilson, at home, and John W. Wilson, Cumberland; a stepson,
  James R. Swindell Jr., Cumberland; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Donna Lee
  Henry, West Salisbury; and Mrs. Patti Lynn Fletcher, Springs; a
  half-brother, John Earl Stevenson, Reno, Nev.; three grandchildren,
  five step-grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
    Friends were received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home where services
  were conducted with the Rev. Richard Lobert officiating.  Interment
  will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
    Pallbearers were James W. Fletcher Jr., James R. Swindell Jr.,
  Calvin O. Henry, James Bridges, Stanley Morris and Thomas Bucy.
