  SWINDELL
  
  William H. Swindell, 72, Meyersdale, died March 17, 1987, at
  Meyersdale Community Hospital.  Born April 9, 1914, in Meyersdale,
  son of the late William and Bessie Ann (Nicklow) Swindell.  Also
  preceded by two brothers, Carl and Frank.  Survived by wife, the
  former Hilda Brown; and these children: William H. Jr., James D. and
  Mrs. Grace Jean Murray, all of Meyersdale; four grandchildren; and
  two great-grandchildren.  A brother of: George, Milwaukee, Wis., and
  Mrs. Mary Catherine Johansen, Seattle, Wash.  Friends will be
  received 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Price
  Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m.
  Friday with the Rev. Richard M. Hanley officiating.  Interment, Union
  Cemetery.
