Born July 13, 1927, in Heathville, Jefferson County. Daughter of Elphie Glenn and Hazel Irene (Witherow) Plyler. Preceded in death by father, Elphie Glenn Plyler, stepfather, Ross H. Morrison, mother, Hazel Irene (Witherow) Plyler-Morrison, and two brothers, June and Maurice Plyler. Survived by these children: Mrs. R. John (Sandra L.) Nida of Orlando, Fla.; Mrs. Tom (Deitra) Knight of Muncy; Ms. Sherry Spangler of Romney, W. Va., and William E. Swineford Jr., married to the former Lois Ann Pletcher, of Morgantown, W. Va.; also 9 grandchildren and 2 great-granddaughters. Sister of John Plyler of Summerville, George Plyler and Mrs. Mary Lane, both of Middlefield, Ohio; William Plyler, Knox, and Paul Plyler, Sigel. Member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. Cashier for Giant Eagle at the Jamesway Plaza, Somerset. Friends received from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, with Msgr. Samuel J. Tomaselli, officiating.
