  SWISHER
  
    Mrs. Emma R. Swisher, 89, of 602 Tayman Ave., Somerset, died Aug.
  19, 1982, at Somerset Community Hospital.  Born May 21, 1893, in
  Adelaid, Pa., daughter of the late Jacob and Anna (Kopf) Hunker. 
  Preceded in death by husband, John, in 1964; 10 brothers and sisters;
  one grandson.  Survived by two daughters: Mrs. David (Maryann)
  Mitchell, Portsmouth, Va., and Mrs. Janet Clark of Springfield, Va.;
  six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.  Member of Trinity
  Lutheran Church, Somerset.  She was one of the early registered
  nurses in the area when Somerset Community Hospital was founded.  No
  viewing of the remains.  Private interment in Husband Cemetery at the
  convenience of the family under the direction of the Wilbur D. Miller
  Funeral Home.
