   Dorothy R. Swope, 72, Central City, died Feb. 25, 2008, at home. Born Jan. 27, 1936, in
  East Berlin, the daughter of Melvin and Bessie (Eichleburger) Boring. Preceded in death by
  parents. Survived by her husband of 52 years, Francis "Red" Swope; these children, Carolyn
  Bridges, Ohio; Randy, Berlin; Terry, East Berlin; Kenny, Central City; Marty, married to
  the former Leesa Jessee, Berlin; Tammy Mort, married to John, New Oxford; Jimmy and Joey,
  both of Central City; grandchildren, Tammy, Misty, Margie, Marilyn, Hope, Kayla, Alex,
  Deven and Brandon; great-grandchildren, Hannah, Corey, Tyler, Ethan, Destiny, Dustin and
  Zackery. She was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting and cooking. Family will receive
  friends from 10 a.m. Thursday until time of service at 11 a.m. at the Deaner Funeral
  Home, Stoystown. The Rev. Walter Startzel officiating. Memorial contributions in her name
  may be given to the charity of your choice.
