  SWOPE
  
    Ewing T. Swope, 85, Valley City, Ohio, has died at his home.  He
  was born in Tarrs, Pa.  Preceded in death by sisters, Isabella
  Tressler, Lillian Walker and Nellie Heinemeyer and brothers, John,
  William, George and Edmund Swope.  Survivors include his wife, the
  former Clara Morgan; daughters, Dolores Hah, Levittown, N.Y.; Donna
  Bentz, Sterling Heights, Mich.; Sandra Becker, Valley City, Ohio; and
  Joyce McKenzie of North Ridgeville, Ohio; sons, Dalton Swope of
  Centerline, Mich., and Thomas Swope of Fontana, Calif.; 24
  grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and one
  great-great-grandchild.  A printer for the Chronicle-Telegram for
  eight years, retiring in 1974.  Before that, he worked at the
  Somerset County Library for five years, U.S. Steel in Johnstown for
  13 years and the Somerset County Times in Somerset for eight years. 
  There will be no services.  Memorials may be made to the Hospice of
  Medina County, P.O. Box 122, Medina 44258.  The Waite & Son Memorial
  Home, 765 N Court St., Medina, handled arrangements.
