    Stella C. Swope, 74, Maple Park, Hooversville, died Feb. 27, 1988
  at Lee Hospital, Johnstown.  Born July 23, 1913 in Hyndman, daughter
  of Charles and Viola (Miller) Shroyer.  Preceded in death by parents;
  husband, Herman B.; daughter, Viola Moore; son, Charles; a grandson; a
  great-grandson; a great-granddaughter; six brothers and a sister. 
  Survived by these children: Edward, married to Margaret Minor,
  Summerhill RD 1; Carl, married to Margaret Chappell, and Herman,
  married to Irene Cook, both of Forestville, Md.; Mrs. Calvin (Dorothy
  Lou) Shaffer, Hooversville RD 1; Mrs. William (Ruby Dean) Williams,
  Altoona; Mrs. Dennis (Clara) Koontz, Stoystown; Judy, at home; Linda
  Lake, and Mrs. James (Pearl) Rummell, both of Hooversville.  Also 37
  grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren and two
  great-great-grandchildren.  Sister of Fritz, Hyndman, Clarabelle
  Gindlesberger, Hooversville RD1, and Anna Mae Chappell, Missouri. 
  Member of Windber Church of Good.  Family received friends Sunday and
  will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral
  Home, Stoystown, and from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m.
  Tuesday at Windber Church of God.  The Rev. Richard Whetstone
  officiating.  Interment, Stahl Mennonite Cemetery.
