Born March 20, 1918 in Meyersdale, a daughter of the late William S. and Emma I. (Bittner) West. Also preceded in death by her husband, Chester Symbor. Survived by sister, Ruth E. Deist, Orlando, FL, and brother, Donald W. West, Winter Garden, FL and numerous nieces and nephews. In Baltimore, she was a manicurist - her life's work. She graduated from Meyersdale High School; also a member Main Street Brethren Church. Friends were received Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home, Meyersdale. Funeral service will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Randy Haulk officiating. Interment Meyersdale Area Union Cemetery.
