  SZAPKA
  
  Janina Szapka, 83, of Patriot Manor, formerly of Hollsopple died
  Sept. 23, 2003, at Patriot Manor.  Born Aug. 18, 1920, in Poland. 
  Daughter of Alexander and Victoria (Przystasz) Kuczma.  Preceded in
  death by parents, and husband Michael Szapka.  She had five sisters,
  and a brother residing in Poland and Russia.  Survived by these
  children, Theodore, married to former Connie Shaffer, Hollsopple,
  Kazimiera, married to David Bheam, Jennerstown.  Also survived by
  grandchildren, David M. Bheam and Lisa married to Stan Alumbaugh, and
  great-grandson Chase.  Member of St. Ann Catholic Church.  She retired
  from JC & Me Pretoria and Hollsopple.  She was in a German Prison Camp
  for six years from 1939 to 1945.  She will be greatly missed by her
  family.  Family receiving friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday
  at the George E. Mason Funeral Home Inc., Davidsville.  Vigil for the
  deceased will be held at Friday afternoon.  Funeral Mass will be held
  at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Ann Catholic Church, Davidsville.  Rev.
  Michael Lewandowski OFM Conv. officiating.  Committal, St. Mary's
  Byzantine Cemetery.
