  SZELONG
  
  Betty Ann Szelong, 66, of Richland Township, died Dec. 4, 2003, at
  the Regional Hospice at Windber.  Born Jan. 24, 1937, in Jeannette. 
  Daughter of Gabriel and Mary (Boban) Zeoli.  Preceded in death by
  parents; sister, Genevieve Casale; stepmother Nancy Zeoli and
  grandson Aaron Szelong.  Survived by husband of 46 years, Z.J.
  "Ziggy" Szelong and these children: Richard, married to the former
  Brenda Frank, Ronald, married to the former Jennifer Studer and Angie
  McDaniel, all of Johnstown.  Grandchildren: Joshua, Sarah and Abby
  Szelong.  Sister of Toni, wife of Adolph "Sharky" Hozempa.  Also
  survived by brother-in-law, Carl Casale; stepsister, Darlene Fligger;
  numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and dear friends, Nadly
  Kohut, Ruth Wagner, Darlene Christensen, all of Johnstown and Carol
  Boyle of West Brownsville.  She will be missed by her dearest
  companion, "Shonie".  Former co-owner of Z-Long Travel.  Long time
  camper at Pioneer Park, Somerset.  Thirty-three-year member of St.
  Benedict Catholic Church, Geistown, where con-celebrated Funeral Mass
  and committal will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday.  Rev. Msgr. Dennis R.
  Boggs, pastor.  Entombment, Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont. 
  Friends received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, and 4 to 8 p.m.
  Monday, at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where
  vigil for deceased will be held.  Those who wish may contribute to
  St. Benedict Educational Fund, 2310 Bedford St. Johnstown, Pa. 15904
  in memory of Betty Ann Szelong.
