  SZEWCZYK (SHEFTIC)
  
  Thadeus S. "Butch" Szewczyk, 82, Main Street, Boswell, died Oct. 1,
  2002 at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.  Born Feb. 3, 1920 in
  Boswell, son of Charles and Frances (Lacz) Szewczyk.  Preceded in
  death by parents, two infant sisters, sister Mary Kubas, and brothers
  Charles and Edward.  Survived by wife of 61 years, the former Mary V.
  Cibo; sons, Thadeaus married to Tomalee Yoder, New Oxford; and
  Anthony, Johnstown.  Five grandchildren and one great-grandson. 
  Sister Frances Shubik and brother Walter, both of Johnstown.  Member
  of All Saints Catholic Parish, Army veteran of World War II.  Served
  on Boswell Borough Council for three terms.  At Butch's request no
  visitation or service.  Following cremation committal at the
  convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be given
  to the American Heart Association, 400 Luray Ave. Johnstown,
  15904-2538.  Arrangements in charge of Hoffman Funeral Homes, Boswell.
