Tag Jr., 16 Linda Drive, Transfer, formerly of Heritage, died at 5:10 p.m. May 1, 2004, in St. Paul's Home, West Salem Township following an extended illness. He was 76. Mr. Tag was born Aug. 1, 1927, in Elizabeth, N.J., a son of Herbert and Ada (Frank) Tag. Preceded in death by parents; sister, Jean Wood and an infant brother. Survived by wife, Ottilie (Kern) Tag, whom he married Feb. 17, 1958, at home; four sons: Paul M. Tag and wife, Rebecca, Monterey, Calif., Keven R. Tag and his wife, Marcia, Strongsville, Ohio, Fredrick C. Tag and his wife, Debra, Rex, Ga., and Bud Lancaster and his wife Therese, Castro Valley, Calif.; one sister, Phyllis, McVey, Colorado and eight grandchildren. Graduate of Union High School, N.J. and worked for Cooper-Jarrett Trucking of Wheatland for 24 years as a truck driver before retiring in 1984. Mr. Tag was a member of St. Peter and Paul Lutheran Church, Sharon. He served in the Navy during World War II as a Sea Bee. He was a member of the West Middlesex VFW, a former member of the Shenango Valley Antique Car Club and enjoyed restoring cars. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Glen Savage where service will be held at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice. 05/05/2004 Daily American
