Talbert, 53, of West Main Street, Somerset, died Feb. 22, 1975, in Naples, Fla. Born Sept. 21,1921, in Cardale, Fayette County, a son of Janet (Glenn) Talbert of Somerset and the late Arthur Talbert. Survived by his wife, the former Gladys O'Neal, and these children: Judith, wife of Ronald Flickinger, Greensburg; Diane, wife of William Bender, Littleton, Colo.; and Allen G. at home; and one grandchild. Member of the First Christian Church, Somerset Lodge 358 F. & A. M., Pittsburgh Consistery, Altoona Shrine, Somerset County Shrine Club, Uniontown Lodge of Perfection, and Somerset Kiwanis Club. He was a veteran of World War II U.S. Army and owner-operator of Talbert Tire Service, East Main Street, Somerset. Friends are being received in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday where funeral service will be conducted Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Paul P. Weber officiating. Interment Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
