TANNEHILL, Robert Glenn (Pap)

Robert Glenn "Pap" Tannehill, 89, Confluence, died May 9, 2006, at The Patriot, 
Somerset. He was born July 2, 1916, in Lower Turkeyfoot Township, a son of 
Robert F. and Eva (Silbaugh) Tannehill. He is preceded in death by his parents; 
wife, Alta E. (Reckner) Tannehill; two brothers and two sisters. He is survived 
by daughters, Peggy Kreger and husband Junior, Ursina; Doris Weyand, Oakdale; 
and sons, James and wife, Brenda, Confluence; David and wife, Kacie, Fenton, 
Mo.; Richard and wife, Debra, Somerset; and Paul, Somerset; 14 grand- children; 
15 great-grandchildren; and a sister Leta Easterbrook, Johnstown. Mr.Tannehill 
was a member of the Turkeyfoot Baptist Church, a forest fire warden for the 
Department of Environmental Resources for 55 years and a self-employed farmer, 
logger and sawmill owner. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, 2 
to 9 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, the hour of service, at the 
Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence. The Rev. Paul Werner and the Rev. James 
Monticue officiating. Interment in Jersey Cemetery.
