Tarker, 80, of Berlin, formerly of Mount Oliver, died Aug. 30, 1995, at his residence. Born Jan. 6, 1915, in Pittsburgh, the son of the late Bernard and Mary Berry Tarker. Retired crane operator for U.S. Steel and a U.S. Army veteran. Served in World War II and was awarded the Purple Heart. Preceded in death by his wife, Ruth M. Tarker; parents; one Stepson, Frederick Kirsch; four brothers: Michael Tarker, Bernard Tarker, William Tarker and Thomas Tarker, and sister, Marie Tarker. Survived by son, Edward W. Tarker of Berlin; stepson Charles Kirsch; stepdaughters, Nancy and June French, and two brothers, Raymond Tarker and Charles Tarker. Survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Member of Berlin VFW Post 7295. Visitation from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Beinhauer Mortuary 2630, W. Liberty Ave., Pittsburgh.
