Tasker, 93, Somerset Towers, died Oct. 3, 1997, at Lee Hospital, Johnstown. Born Aug. 31, 1904, in Johnstown, daughter of the late John W. and Greselda (Paul) Wise. Preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Austin C. Tasker in 1992, a son, James Tasker and a brother, George Tasker. Survived by the following children: Mrs. Robert (Mildred) Trent and Betty James, both of Somerset; William C. Tasker, Harrisburg; a daughter-in-law, Blanche (Bittner) Tasker, Johnstown; 10 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren. Sister of Hazel Peterson, Baltimore, Md. Member of the Somerset Church of the Brethren, War Mothers organization, attended and was active since its inception of Somerset Area Senior Citizens Center. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today (Saturday) at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, Somerset, where funeral service will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m., with the Rev.
