  CHARLES W. TATALEBA
   
  Charles W. Tataleba Sr., 63, of Berlin RD 3, died April 28, 1979, at
  Somerset Community Hospital.  He was born Jan. 1, 1896, in Austria.  He is
  survived by the following children : Mrs. Kenneth (Mary) Deeter, Baltimore,
  Md.; Charles Jr. and James, both of Berlin RD 3; Mrs. Paul (Helen) Crabtree,
  Cumberland, Md.; John, Berlin RD 1; and George, Coneaut, Ohio; also 16
  grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by
  his wife, the former Anna Slifco, who died in 1952.  He was a retired miner
  and member of Local No. 7896, UMWA, Listie; also a member of SS. Peter and
  Paul Orthodox Church, Goodtown; and a World War I Army veteran.  Friends
  were received at the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home.  Divine liturgy was at
  St. Mary's Orthodox Church, Central City, with the Rev. John Govrusik
  officiating.  Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery.
