TATAR, Dorothy J. Mrs.

Mrs. Dorothy J. Tatar, 85, 207 Ottowa St., formerly of Windber died Aug. 17, 
2006, at Regional Hospice at Windber. Born June 18, 1921, in Somerset daughter 
of the late John and Pauline (Walker) Cleaver. Also preceded in death by husband 
Joseph, and sisters Althea Shrout and Margaret Rager. Survived by son William, 
married to the former JoAnn Saintz, Windber, and daughter Kathryn, wife of 
Cornel Butuceanu, Williamsburg, Va. Also five grandchildren and eight great-
grandchildren. Sister of John Cleaver, Hurricane, Utah. Also survived by special 
companion Robert Leventry, Johnstown. Member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic 
Church, Windber where funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday. The 
Very Rev. Leonard E. Voytek, VF, pastor officiating. Commital, parish cemetery. 
The family will receive friends from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday at Meek & Dalla Valle 
Funeral Home Inc., Windber, where vigil for the deceased will be held. Memorials 
may be made to Regional Hospice at Windber in Dorothy's memory.
