Cookie was born in Nanty Glo, and lived in the Penn Hills area of Pittsburgh and Seven Springs, before moving to Florida. Beloved wife of Virgil F. Tatum for 62 years, mother of James R. (Linda), Georgia; Gary L. (Linda) and Kathy (Bob) Bennett and grandmother of Seth and Lori Tatum, all of Florida. Cookie loved life and always put family first. She also loved bingo and playing a number or two. A memorial gathering was held Saturday at Kalis-McIntee Funeral & Cremation Center 2505 N. Dixie Highway, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, 954-566-7621. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Virgil F. Tatum; sons, James (Linda) and Gary (Linda); Daughter Kathy (Bob) Bennett and grand-children, Seth and Lori Tatum. A memorial service to celebrate the life of "Cookie" Tatum will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. June 17, in the Timberstone Room at the ski lodge of Seven Springs Mountain Resort in Champion. Cookie was a longtime employee and resident of Seven Springs. The family asks that you join them in this celebration in the location of many of their happiest moments.
