  EDWARD TAYLOR 
  
  Edward Taylor, 77, of Confluence, died Jan. 13, 1978, at home.  Born March
  15, 1900, in Stewart Township, he was a son of the late Jacob and Elizabeth
  (Williams) Taylor.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Chloe Shipley.  He
  is survived by two children, Clarence of Confluence and Mrs. Thelma Harman
  of Latrobe; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.  Funeral
  services were held Monday at the Humbert Funeral Home with the Rev. Arthur
  Gotjen officiating.  Interment, Hickman Chapel Cemetery.
