Cumberland, Md. Born in Listie, daughter of the late Albert Miller and Ada (Whipperman) Miller. Predeceased by her husband, George W. Sterner. Survived by second husband, Roy O. Taylor Sr. She was a member of Cresaptown United Methodist Church and the Cumberland Chapter 56 Order of Eastern Star. She was a 1930 graduate of Somerset High School. She is survived by: one daughter, Miss Phyllis J. Sterner, at home; two sons, Barry L Sterner, Mount Vernon, Ill., and Dale M. Sterner, Cumberland; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Joyce Ann Bodkins, Lorrain, Ohio; two stepsons, Roy O. Taylor Jr., Belair, Cumberland; and George N. Taylor, Ridgely, W.Va.; one sister, Mrs. Erma Murray, Somerset; eleven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nieces and one nephew. Friends will be received, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at George Funeral Home, Cumberland, where services, will be held Friday 2 p.m., with the Rev. Harold R. McClay Jr. officiating. Interment will be in at Sunset Memorial Park, Cumberland. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Maryland Lupus Foundation, Inc., 12 West 25 St. Baltimore Md. 21218.
