  John Q. Taylor, 85, of Jennerstown, died Dec. 16, 1979 at Chambersburg
  Hospital, Chambersburg, Pa.  Born June 18, 1894, in Buck Valley, Fulton
  County, son of Mr. and Mrs. Francis M. Taylor.  Preceded in death by
  parents; son, Wayne M.; two brothers; and a sister.  Survived by widow,
  Minnie R. Trexel; sons, John, D. married to former Mary Hoffman and Robert
  W. married to the former Shirley Ott, both of Chambersburg; Zane F. at
  home; also a grandson, Kevin.  Member of Laurel Trinity Luthern Church
  Jennerstown. Veteran of Worle War I, serving with 23rd Engineers in France.
  Death ends a marriage union of 57 years.  Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9
  p.m. Monday at Joesph H. Hoffman Funeral Home 227 Allegheny St., Boswell,
  where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday. with the Rev. Jesse
  E. Wolf.  Interment, Mt. Zion Cemetery.
