She was a former resident of Somerset County, having been born and reared in Larimer Township. Following her marriage to Henry Tayman, she resided in Meyersdale, until moving to Akron, 30 years ago. Her husband died in 1931. Mrs. Tayman, who was a life-long member of the Lutheran church, is survived by the following children: Charles, in Wisconsin; Harvey, Callery, Pa.; Homer and Stewart, Mrs. Ida Fair and Mrs. Daisy Humphrey, Akron, O.; Mrs. Rose Romyer, Talmage, Ohio; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Her body was brought to Meyersdale for burial. Funeral services will be conducted in the Konhaus Funeral Chapel, Friday at 2:30 p.m., by Rev. R. M. Dunkelberger, D.D., followed by interment in Union Cemetery. Pvt. Gilbert Tayman, reported missing in action in Sicily and whose picture appears on page one of this paper, was her grandson.
