  GEORGE A. TEATS
  
  George A. Teats, 104, of RD 2, Grantsville, MD, formerly Friendsville, MD;
  died Sunday, June 10, 1990, at the Goodwill Mennonite Home, Grantsville,
  MD.  Born in Friendsville, MD, July 9, 1885, he was the son of the late
  Jonas and Catherine (Slagel) Teats.  His wife, Anna E. (Detrick) Teats,
  preceded him in death Feb. 2, 1966.  He was a farmer and a coal miner; was a
  member of the United Pentacostal Church and the former IOOF of Friendsville,
  MD.  Surviving are one son, A. Jackson Teats, Friendsville, MD; two
  daughters, M. Evelyn Younkin, Grantsville, MD; and Freda C. Kreiger,
  Lovettsville, Va.; 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and two
  great-great-grandchildren.  Friends were received at the Newman Funeral
  Home, Friendsville, MD, where services were held Thursday at 10 a.m. with
  the Rev. James Beardsley officiating.  Interment, Steele Cemetery.
