  TEDROW
  
  Robert Maurice Tedrow, 70, Rockwood RD 2, died Thursday, Sept. 6, 1979, in
  the Somerset Community Hospital, after a lengthy illness.  He was born Jan.
  14, 1909 in Milford Township, a son of the late John W. and Emma Younkin
  Tedrow.  He was preceded Leonard Tedrow in death by his wife, Paulene 1974,
  also by his brother, Frank and two grand-daughters.  He is survived by three
  daughters: Mrs. Lloyd S. (Nancy) Cober and Mrs. Joyce T. Heiple, both of
  Somerset, Mrs. Jack C. (Peggy) Younkin, Elysburg; by two sisters: Mrs.
  Blanche T. Bowman, Rockwood, Mrs. Samuel J. (Eleanor), Romesberg, Rockwood
  RD 2; by two brothers: N. Paul Tedrow, Storrs, Conn. and John C.F. Tedrow,
  Edison, N.J., also eight grandchildren.  He was a graduate of California
  State Teachers College and was a schoolteacher for many years prior to
  becomming superintendent of Somerset Rural Electric.  He owned and operated
  Tedrow's Supermarket in Reidsville, N.C. until his retirment in 1974.
  Friends will be received in the William J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood from
  2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday, where services will be conducted Saturday at 1 p.m.
  with the Rev. Jack Hazlett officiating.  Interment, Rockwood IOOF Cemetery.
