TENNEFOSS Joseph Charles Tennefoss, 67, of North Benton, Ohio, died July 14, at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna, after a lengthy illness. He was born Feb. 13, 1915, in LaJunta, Colo., he had lived in North Benton for 35 years. He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, in Meyersdale. He was a retired tuber operator for the Ohio Rubber Co., in Willoughby. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl; sons, Joseph Jr. and Gary Francis, both of North Benton; daughters, Mrs. Donald (Beulah) Mace, of Berlin Center, Mrs. Howard (Mary Frances) Newell, of North Benton and Amber Dawn, at home; mother, Mary A. Sipple, of Meyersdale RD 1; brothers, Glenn Lepley, of Escondido, Calif.; Eugene Lepley, of Euclid and Robert Lepley, of Norfolk, Va.; sisters, Marguerite Cockley, of Meyersdale, Ruth Pickett, of Euclid and Virginia Shoff, of Madison; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his father Joseph N., who died in 1915 and a brother Charles Lepley. Friends were received at the Wood Funeral Home, Ravenna, Ohio. Pastor David E. Bickett, of the North Benton Presbyterian Church officiated at the July 17 services. Interment, Hillcrest Memorial Park, Solon, Ohio. The Republic, July 22, 1982 [T106]
