Tempia, 88, Rockwood, died Aug. 27, 2006, at The Patriot. Born Feb. 5, 1918 in Akron, Ohio, a daughter of the late Charles Raymond and Lillian (Shultz) Litzemburg. Preceded in death by brother Robert Litzemburg, twin granddaughters; Ruth Viola and Heather Evon Brant, and her long time companion, Vernon Wayne Oester. Survived by her daughter, Robin Lynn Brant and her companion, Kenny Bittinger, Salisbury; grandchildren; Matthew Roy Brant and his companion, Heather Lasure, Meyersdale; Angela Louise Brant and companion, Scott Tucker, Somerset; great-grandchildren, Devlin Herbert Brant, Draven Lestat Brant and Akasha Jolene Brant. A World War II veteran, served in Fort Sill, Okla. Retired employee of Meyersdale Manufacturing. Friends are invited to a remembrance service from 1 to 6 p.m. Saturday in the Salisbury Manor.
