"Bud" Templer, 73, of 14 Peninsula Drive, Central City, died Dec. 29, 1993, at home. Born June 30, 1920, in Pittsburgh, son of Charles Robert and Laura (Hoffman) Templer. Preceded in death by parents, and brother, Robert. Survived by his wife the former Betty Schenk, and these children: James E., married to the former Barbara Moon of Troy, Mich.; Joyce E., married to Rev. John Seltzer of Cobleskill, N.Y.; and Richard W., married to the former Jane Cushing of Duluth, Ga.; also eight grandchildren, and brother, Charles W. of Pittsburgh. Retired from L.T.V. Steel Pittsburgh, WW II Army veteran. Member of St Paul's Presbyterian Church, Somerset, member and former president of Indian Lake Golf Club, and also a member of the Free and Accepted Masons. Family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until service at 2 p.m. Friday (today) at Mt. Royal Memorial Park Chapel, Pittsburgh, Rev. Keith Fink officiating. Final resting place Mt. Royal Mausoleum.
