Tennant, 58, of Salisbury, died Dec. 12, 1988, at Cumberland Memorial Hospital, Md., after a long illness. Born March 16, 1930, in Wind Ridge, Greene County. Son of the late Orland Tennant. He is survived by mother, Mary (Baltzell) Tennant, of Richeyville, Pa.; also survived by wife Carol (Clovis) Tennant, Salisbury; one son Robert G. Tennant Jr., Zanesville, Ohio; two daughters Mrs. Danny (Deborah) Nelly and Mrs. Ronald (Judith) Flannery, both of Springfield, Ohio; six grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Hubert (Mary Louise) Bissett, of Richeyville, Pa.; one brother William Tennant, Cleveland, Ohio. He was an employee of Columbia Gas, Salisbury; also member of Home Association of the American Legion and VFW, Salisbury. Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday in the Thomas Funeral Home, Salisbury. Friends will also be received on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Rehm Funeral Home, Jefferson, Pa. where services will be held on Friday, Dec. 16, at 1 p.m. with Rev. David R. Martin.
