Tennent, 70, died Dec. 24, 1978, at her residence, Schmid Towers, 153 East 6th Street, Erie. Born in Erie, the daughter of the late Edwin Buell and Bertha C. (Hartel) Joslin. Former resident of Somerset. Employed as a food handler for the Erie Canteen Company for several years. Member of the Chestnut Street United Presbyterian Church. Survived by two sons: Thomas N. of Hope, Rhode Island, and Richard E. Tennent of State College, Pa. ; and two brothers: Neil W. Joslin of Erie and Oscar K. Joslin of Florida; also six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by husband, Clarence H. Tennent, former manager of the Somerset branch of General Telephone, who died August 1958. Friends may call Tuesday 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday noon until time of service at the W. James Scott Jr. Funeral Home (Edgar M. Nelson Associates), 21st Street in Myrtle. Friends are also invited to services at the funeral home Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m. with the Rev. John E.
