Born Feb. 22, 1880, in Mark, Italy, a son of the late Pacifica and Agnes (Aquilanti) Testa. Preceded in death by his wife, the former Lavorina Camellia and also four children. Survived by these children: Augustine of Avondale; John, Cumberland, Md.; Andrew, Indianapolis, Ind.; Orlando and Mario, both of Toughkenmanon; Mrs. Lena Dirienzo, Somerset; Mrs. Emma Rowley, Cumberland, Md.; and Mrs. Victoria Staub, Meyersdale RD 3; also 41 grandchildren ; 65 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. A brother of: Joseph and Agatia, both of Mark, Italy. Was a member of the UMWA. He worked as a coal miner and farmer for 45 years before retirement. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday 11 a.m. at the SS. Philip and James Catholic Church, Meyersdale, the Rev. J. Clark George officiating. Interment, church cemetery. Rosary 8:45 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Daily American, April 22, 1980 [T121]
