  MARY TEWELL
  
  Mary Bangert Tewell, 91, Grantsville, Md., died Nov. 20, 1980, at the
  Goodwill Mennonite Home, Grantsville.  She was born Oct. 18, 1889, in
  Meyersdale and was a daughter of the late Henry and Lydia (Patton) Bangert.
  She was preceded in death by her husband, A.C. Tewell, also by four brothers
  and three sisters.  She is survived by a niece, Kathryn S. Lichliter,
  Stoystown.  She was a graduate of Maryland General Hospital School of
  Nursing, where she served as supervisor; she was also a superintendent of
  Miner's Hospital, Frostburg, Md. and later a Baltimore City Health
  Department nurse.  She was a nurse at Camp Meade during World War I and a
  member of the Baltimore City Retired Employees Association Inc.  She was a
  resident of the Goodwill Mennonite Home for the past 14 years.  Friends were
  received at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where services were
  conducted with the Rev. Lloyd Sechriest officiating.  Interment, Union
  Cemetery.
