Thatcher, Fifth Rangers, U.S. Army, retired; daughter, Jenneene Spencer of Gainesville. Fla.; granddaughter, Hilary Mills of Gainesville; brother, Fred and wife Doris of Palm Bay, Fla, and sister-in-law, Verna Knupp of Somerset. Preceded in death by sister, Anne Weaver, and brothers, Glenn and Delbert. Civilian survivor of Pearl Harbor attack. Formerly employed by Rutland Bank, St. Petersburg. Past president of Chapter 71, Military Order of Purple Heart Auxiliary of Pinellas Park, Fla. Member of Veterans Chapter 91, Disabled American Veterans of Pinellas Park, and Pinellas Park AlAnon.
