Born June 11, 1961, in Johnstown, son of William Jr., and Karol (Grabiak) Thiele. Survived by parents; wife, Doreen (Warnirk) Thiele, and their children, Nicole and Zachary, all of Boswell. A brother of William Thiele III of Rock Springs, Wyo.; and Maria (Thiele) Marple, wife of Craig Marple of Green River, Wyo. Also survived by nephew, Ian Hunter Marple, also of Green River, Wyo.; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. An entrepreneur, arborist and tree surgeon, and owner-operator of Thiele's Tree Service. Gregory was an active outdoorsman who enjoyed many successful hunting and fishing trips with his children and family. Member of Ferndale Sportsmen; National Association of Arbors. Friends received from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., Broad Street, Johnstown where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Father Charles P. Martin. Interment, Grandview Cemetery. Greg was very casual and, at his request, informal dress for the funeral service is preferred. Greg was a very loving father, husband, son, grandson, brother, uncle and friend. Greg was very well-known and respected throughout the community. His personality and enthusiasm effected everyone he met. Gregory Charles Thiele will be sadly missed by all, we love you. Daily American, February 11, 2000 [T128]
