  ALBERT S. THOMAS 
  
  Albert S. Thomas, 85, Rockwood RD 1, died March 18, 1981, at Somerset
  Community Hospital.  He was born May 5, 1895, in Milford Township, son of
  the late Samuel and Clarissa (Kretchman) Thomas.  He was preceded in death
  by three brothers and six sisters.  He is survived by a number of nieces and
  nephews.  He was a life-long member of Messiah Lutheran Church where he
  served as a Sunday school teacher for many years.  He was a retired farmer.
  Friends were received at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home where services
  were conducted at the Messiah Lutheran Church, the Rev. Gregory Pile
  officiating.  Interment, church cemetery
