THOMAS, Anna M.

Anna M. Thomas, 85, passed away Dec. 23, 2007. She was born Nov. 23, 1922, in 
McConnellsburg, to the late Roy and Lillie (Sites) Laidig. Mrs. Thomas is 
survived by her husband of 46 years, Miles D. Thomas, Hummelstown; a sister, 
Ruby Shiley, Mechanicsburg; and several nieces and nephews. She retired from 
PEMA for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. She was a member of Pine Street 
Presbyterian Church, and volunteered for the USO during World War II and the 
March of Dimes. There will be a memorial service 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Pine 
Street Presbyterian Church, 310 N. 3rd Street, Harrisburg. Burial will be at 
Wesley Chapel Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Zimmerman-Auer Funeral 
Home.
