ARTIE MAE THOMAS

  Mrs. Frank Thomas (Artie Mae Kendall) died very suddenly in Akron, Ohio, while 
attending the funeral of her mother, Susan Kendall.  Mrs. Thomas was born in 
1895 in Salisbury, where she spent her girlhood.  Her father was John Wilson 
(deceased).
  For the past 29 years she had made her home in Ashland, Ohio.  Her husband, 
Frank B. Thomas, preceded her in death in 1934.  Survivors are two children, 
Maxine Thomas, in nurses' training at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City, and 
Earl Thomas of the O.P.A. in New York City.  Three sisters, Mrs. Grover Tedrow 
of Akron, O., Mrs. George Campbell of Canton, O., and Mrs. Isaac Blake of 
Boynton, Pa., and a brother, Clifford, of Akron, O., also survive.  Interment 
was made at Ashland, Ohio.
