  Audrey A. Thomas, 70, of Somerset and lifelong Chicago Cubs fan, died Sept.
  18, 1994, at her residence.  Born Feb. 1, 1924, in North Freedom, Wisconsin,
  she was the daughter of the late George William and Minnie Bertha (Foss)
  Rudy.  Survived by her husband, William H. Thomas, to whom she was married
  for 48 years, and these children: Linda Thomas Atkinson and William G.
  Thomas, both of Somerset; James G. Thomas, married to the former Darlene
  Hardesty of Berlin, and Joseph G. Thomas of Los Angeles, CA.  Also
  grandchildren: Molly and Paige Atkinson, both of Somerset, and Andrew
  Romesberg of Berlin.  Veteran of the United States Marine Corps, 1944-1946;
  stationed at Camp Le-Jeune, NC., during World War II.  Memorial
  contributions to the Somerset "In Touch" Hospice, 651 South Center Ave.,
  Somerset, Pa. 15501, would be welcomed.  Private funeral services at the
  convenience of the family.  Interment, Arlington National Cemetery.
