  THOMAS
  
  Blaine S. Thomas, 83, of Confluence, died Sept. 23, 1996, at home.  Born
  Oct. 24, 1912, in Thomasdale (Fayette County).  Son of the late Charles
  Wayne and Anna Gertrude (Nicklow) Thomas.  Also preceded in death by a
  sister, Alice Beckett, and a brother, Russell "Bo" Thomas.  Survived by his
  wife of 62 years, Evelyn (Cramer); a son, Robert, married to Sherry (Deal)
  Thomas of Somerset; three grandchildren: Kim Tressler and Bob and Ron
  Thomas, and a great-granddaughter, Brittany.  Also a brother, Ralph Thomas,
  Cleveland, Ohio, and two sisters, Beatrice Montague, Uniontown, and Sarah
  Beatty, Macon, Ga.  He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Confluence,
  and the Confluence Lions Club.  Owned and operated Eastern Motor Sales in
  Somerset from 1946 to 1969.  Friends will be received from 2-9 p.m.
  Wednesday at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where services will be
  held at 1 p.m. Thursday, with Rev. George Mason officiating.  Interment,
  Addison Cemetery.  Family suggests contributions to Trinity Lutheran Church
  or a favorite charity.
